Coaching
At T∙A∙C∙T, we believe in both coaching and training.
Coaching focuses on the programme required to achieve the predetermined end goals. This is the overview and pathway to success.
Training is the execution of the programme ingredients. This is where athletes may fail by either misinterpreting the programme or the exercise aim. The presence of a trainer will ensure the exercises are carried out correctly.
Athletes will recieve a periodised and micro training intensity zoned programme relative to the athlete's age and natural ability, as well as coach and athlete interaction and programme monitoring.
Options to choose from:
Year round coaching - The CYR Formula (see below for conditions)
CYR 1 - Summer pre race and race season coaching; 1 October to 31 March ($600)
CYR 2 - Autumn races example Xterra or base work coaching; 1 April to 30 June ($300)
CYR 3 - Winter races or race series example duathlon, multisport or basework and race prep ITU, Xterra and Ironman World Champs; 1 July to 30 September ($300)
All athletes can choose to do any of the above CYR sectors
To be elgible for discounts (below) within the noted CYR sectors certain criteria must be met.
CYR 1 + CYR 2 or CYR 1 + CYR 3 ($150 discount)
1. The athlete must be a current CYR 1 athlete, competed in a National or International Championship Triathlon or Multisport event and qualified for selection in a World Championship
2. One CYR sector (2 or 3) can be added to the compulsory CYR 1. The added sector shall be for the same sport of qualification
CYR 1 + CYR 2 + CYR 3 ($300 discount)
1. The athlete has met the criteria of CYR 1 + CYR 2 or CYR 3 and
2. Has achieved a top 10 placing in the current or previous year World Championship Triathlon or Multi Sport event
3. Any new member may apply for the full CYR subject to condition 2 above
- These recieve the functional movement screening and their nutrition modules free of charge.
One off Personalised Programmes for:
- Sprint Distance: 6 or 10 week programme - SD6 or SD10
- Olympic Distance: 8 or 12 week programme - OD8 or OD12
- Long Distance - Half Ironman: 10 or 14 week programme - LD10 or LD14
- Ultra Distance - Ironman: 12 or 16 week programme - UD12 or UD16
